First Annual Artspace on the Mezzanine Group Show

Throughout December, 'Artspace on the Mezzanine'--at the Bowmanville branch of the Clarington Public Library--celebrates its first anniversary with a group exhibition by ten artists. The artists and their works are: Helen Bajorek MacDonald, 'Eidolon'; Jane Eccles, 'Doll Study'; David B. Gillespie, 'An Afternoon with Cameron'; Jean-Michel Komarnicki, 'Parallel Conversations'; Kristin McCrea, 'Udderly Fresh'; Barbara Ponomareff, 'Inlet and Lichen'; Margaret Rodgers, 'Found Choir'; Ingrid Ruthig, 'Narrative Splice No.1'; Anastasia Tiller, 'Peaceful Thoughts'; and Olex Wlasenko, 'The land from look behind'. The Artspace on the Mezzanine artists invite you to visit the library, spend some time with their diverse works and consider how art can inform, delight, challenge, and inspire. The exhibition runs everyday, during library hours, from December 1st to December 31st, 2009. Submissions from artists to exhibit at Artspace on the Mezzanine are always welcome. Contact Jean-Michel Komarnicki at jmkimage@ican.net or by phone at 905-623-9060.
