The Star of Hope Spiritualist Church

The Star of Hope Spiritualist Church is an open and inclusive organization welcoming and encouraging the spiritual development in people of all ages, beliefs and life preferences. To quote Ruby Leask, one of our co-founders:

'Spiritualism is the growth of the spirit to connect with the God of your understanding.' 

Sunday evening services and Wednesday evening guided open meditation sessions are at Connaught Park Clubhouse in Oshawa, www.connaughtpark.ca

Sunday services start at 7:00 pm and include healing (present and absent), talks from inspirational speakers and messages and proof of survival from Mediums. The healers, speakers and mediums come in from various cities and towns in south/east Ontario and range in experience from student to practitioner. We strive to live our lives according to the Seven Priciples of Spiritualism which are:

1. The Fatherhood of God


2. The Brotherhood of Man


3. The communion of spirits and the ministry of angels


4. The continuous existence of the human soul


5. Personal responsibility


6. Compensation and retribution here and hereafter for all good and evil deeds done on earth


7. Eternal progress open to every human soul that wills to tread it by the path of eternal good.
