Movies without Borders

Do you like foreign films? Are you a newcomer to Durham Region or are you just interested in other cultures? The Movies without Borders foreign film series will screen movies in other languages with English subtitles. Here's an opportunity to engage in conversation with people from other countries and share experiences while enjoying examples of international cinema. This month we're showing an African film in recognition of Black History month. The story is set in a Senegalese village. A fabulously wealthy old woman, who was born in the village but run out in disgrace, returns and promises the villagers a fortune on one condition: that they kill the man who ruined her.
